A question for the moderators
Can anyone tell me why my thread does not show up in the "General Discussion" section when I log in? It will show up after I post to it, but if I log out and log back in it's gone.
I even checked the time stamp when I post to it- the threads that are posted to before and after show up in the list but this one is missing. This is the first time I have encountered this problem. Am I doing something wrong? Here is the thread: http://projectavalon.net/forum/showthread.php?t=19946 |

Re: A question for the moderators
I cannot not answer that one - maybe Anchor or Gareth can.
Is this the same issue Seashore has been bringing to our attention? This may soon be a moot issue, if all goes well with setting up vBulletin 4.0 as the forum software. Since we are all volunteers, with lives busy also with other things, such as jobs and families, it is impossible to have a target date - except for, as soon as we can ... I'm hoping 3-4 weeks, but I may have my head in the clouds on that one, since I'm not experienced on the techie end of things. :lol3: So - we will have all the latest upgrades to vBulletin, a new forum look as the old skins won't work with the new version, new mission statement, and revised and updated guidelines. And NOW - back to work on all that ... |

Re: A question for the moderators
This is a post that I made in response to Seashores query about a similar issue, it explains how the forum is configured in relation to read/undread and new/not new status of posts that are made.
