As busy as this site is now, a live chat would induce insomnia as noone would want to get sleep and instead would want to be online chatting.

Hello everyone. Mods are in discussion with Bill and Kerry on this feature.

As far as I know a plug-in has to be added first and GateKeeper is working on it. I will let GateKeeper respond to this once all has been done.

This could be easily done using ventrilo. Some people would have to put up a little $ for a host/s. This is used in alot of MMORPG's for raiding, I don't think it's all that expensive.

The actual program is free to download for anyone, I think each host can hold 40 people minimum and up to 80 max depending on which server plan you go with.

I'm all for live chat.. but, how in the world would anyone be able to follow a conversation? The poor little room would burst at the seams.. Hundreds of people trying to talk at once... yikes!

I'd also like to see moderated interviews with question and answer afterward.
Now, that would be groovy!

Our live chat will demonstrate our ability to communicate respectfully, in real time, demonstrate who you want to actually 'commune' with (only those that listen and pause?) and perhaps we'll progress to more telepathy in the process!

Get yourself either MIRC or Xchat or similar irc client.

Then connect to:
