If you meddle in the future, all possible futures, trying to create them, they will instead create you and you will get trapped by them - TO know the Future is to be trapped by it, knowing its a trap is the first step to evading it..

Yup, that's the idea of self fulfilling prophecies, but the magick behind it is that the mechanism itself can also create a preferred future as well.
