I have been told to buy silver since about last June. I'm not sure if that's what I need to do personally, or if that's a good idea for others in the US. I believe the advice for other nations is different. I get a feeling of indecision on their part when it comes to gold. I don't think it has been decided what to do yet. I think the powers that be in our banking system are going to see how some other things pan out first and then decide. :blink:

If you have the money, it cannot hurt to own some gold and silver, however, this should not be your highest priority. If you have not satisfactorily taken care of other preparations for short and longer-term "inconveniences" then you should attend to these first.
