This sends a powerful message to your central Government! What response has North Carolina had from the Govt? I'll be watching this issue with interest. In New Zealand the South Island (where I am) has protested at times to the plundering of our rivers to feed electricity to the North Island, where the Govt, power and the majority of people are. We in the south have not been listened to at times. We succeeded in stopping a large canal project, that would have seen the last section of a huge braided river put into a canal with power stations all along it. That was on the south bank of the river. They are coming again to have another go on the north side. It will not succeed, the river will rage, and put paid to all their development. Man's plans are impotent again the power of nature when she decides to move. Just as when united peoples finally stand up and say no, you shall not pass, governments tremble.

Im rambling a bit, but anyway, you get my drift.
