I stayed in the Red lion pub in the middle of avebury for a weekend-the only pub/building to stand in the middle of an ancient circle.The pub is reputedly haunted by several ghosts;i think the main energy is from the womb nature of the central circle in which the pub stands-i recommend it to anyone-a great place to stay and real ales also!!Look out of your window and you have megaliths everywhere!!Wild man...
