To clarify, this is not directed at anyone in particular on this site. It is a general rant:

I'm getting sick and tired of people who keep nodding their heads at overpopulation, especially in the environment field. It's a sobering reality to see people systematically agreeing that "yep, the world has too many people and it's hurting the environment". It pains me to see this and it makes me question my field of study in environment.

What's even more disturbing is seeing people show more support for sterilization of others, especially to punish people who abuse social services.

We must fight back against these negative forces. We must also fight back against Malthusian ideas, especially those espoused by snobs.

I am worried that the more people agree on these ideas, the more they'll support tactics to ravage the world's population.
