Default Re: Prepare Now for Empty Store Shelves and Soviet-style Food Shortages

Thanks, Seashore, for sharing this.

Although it was sent out to promote the man's products, I find it "right on" and that it represents one of our bigger hurdles for the coming months.

Anyone who takes the time to go to the link should get the free e-book offered at Thanksgiving on the Pilgrim's survival gardens; it is still available and very interesting to read.

Mille grazie!

PS to all skeptics:
I was in the States around Easter this year, back and forth all over NC, after not having been "home" for 7 years and I was shocked by what I saw... I FELT that the atmosphere there was much what I have imagined "old russia" to have been like... It was the first time in my life that I found food costing more "there" than here in Italy.... Huge shopping complexes mostly empty (empty stores and few shoppers) and most of the people I saw were so pitiful looking. What really struck me worst were the huge areas of cleared land (especially around the Triad Airport Area)...such a shame. It just didn't feel like "home" anymore. Maybe you all don't notice so much what goes on in your area, since you have been used to this kind of "development", but I was quite disturbed by it. No matter how hard I try, I just can't brush it all off, because I feel that I have lost something very dear... a place I thought that some day I would return to, a place I used to call "home". God bless you all, and heads up!

Peace and Good Will!
