David was quoting the Law of one. The Law of one states you must either be 51% service to others or 95% service to self. Both of which are equally hard.
The hidden hand testimony says that those who are "lukewarm" (most people) will experience an amazing blissful "zero time" experience where they become one with the creator, remember who they are et cetera. They will then be transported to another planet where everything is the same as it is here. They wont remember the harvest, and it will probably be all over the news that everybody had this amazing spiritual experience.
