Lithium can also worsen the case of psychotic people, a lot. It can indeed make them psychopath.

I got a dear friend who was diagnose bi-polar by a bad psychiatrist. They give her lithium and a couple weeks later, she was putting Montreal city upside down. She woke up in jail, completely zombie.

She phoned me not knowing what was happening to her. She told she was partly conscious of her acts, but unable to control herself, like if she was controlled by someone crazy.

She changed her "psy" and got diagnose as weak psychotic, a very serious mental illness, because the next step is psychopath where there is no coming back.

Who knows what crazy intention they might have with this idea...
