about insects as food
I searched the threads with "insect food" as keywords. Didn't find any threads about this subject. So...
Insects you find all over. Even after some cataclysm or disaster you'll find insects. We western people don't like the idea of eating insects. But they are very nutricious and there's an unlimited abundance. Just turn over a stone, and you'll find some.
An advantage over other food is, you don't have grow it and so you don't have to stay in one place too.
I've read somewhere 100 grams would suffice to for fill your daily needs of vitamines and elements.
Most larva are fit to eat. They often taste nut-like I hear.
Maybe there are some insects you should not eat?
Anyone has experience?
