I know the works of Geryl.
While I'm respecting him I notice how he is missing the Whole story to concentrate on the 2012 pole shift event only.
Additionally he ignore the prophecies related to the time after that tell also which regions are touched by which event.
Finally I disagree with some sensationalism (waves of 2 KM) based on no concrete data.

As far I understand the bigger danger is represented by being killed by own fears during the Darkness.
And before you start to discuss it I suggest to try it: close yourself for 3 days in the darkness.
If you know the story of Marpa and Milarepa, you know that being in the darkness for a while can change your "Weltbild" (Germans: your image of the world).
On the other side you risk to die.

Near term the risk is to don't have food or being involved in riots/repression events.
Medium term the risk is to be involved in the war.
We can address all those risks and live with them.
