i would like to paraphrase and modify a line from Startreks's Mr Spock

"we all create our own illusions.... and mine can be no worse than yours"

one only has to extrapolate on the human behavior seen in internet forums to realize that the state of the world in which we live truly is of our own making and until we learn to be better to one another nothing will ever change.
