Giovonni here, I agree with you on Sarah Palin's possibilities for the forth coming future. There is even speculation (with the convicted Ted Stevens Senate seat race up for grabs- for it looks like Stevens will hold by a narrow margin ), that the Senate leadership ranks have already indicated, he is finished and won't be allowed to accept his seat. This might be her vehicle straight to the Washington's inner core. The state law is vague on this, but a stand-in appointee, could hold the office for 30-60 days; Then a special election could be held for the remaining term. Or possibly, she could even appoint herself to his vacant seat, and then step down from her Governor's office position, allowing the Lt. Governor to step up and move into the Governor's role? What do you think? gio
