Hi giovonni,
Coastal errosion has been greatly accentuated here in the Northeast of Brazil for years.
The local Town Halls have all carried out projects to try and stop the advance of the sea, which has eroded more than 5 meters of coastline over the last twenty years and the erosion is worsening at an alarming rate.

Even with these projects, the sea has destroyed two contention walls and is slowly trying to destroy a third and at high tide, the sea crashes over to the main avenue, Avenida Boa Viagem, in Recife.
In Piedade, near to Recife, the coastline apartment blocks have all lost their value as nobody is managing to sell them because of the advance of the sea and in Olinda houses have been destroyed by the sea.
