Not pole shift?


The sea level rise is not a direct/immediate result of the pole shift.

The polar ice melt is a slow process, taking about 2 years for the ice to melt completely after the pole shift. The refreezing of the ice on the new poles is also a much slower process than the polar melt, thus the rise in the sea level before new ice cap is rebuilt from the water through the evaporation/snowfall process.
