The myth of creationinvolving the Ogdoad is almost scientific in its concerns with the physical composition of the primaeval matter..at some point,these entities (the Ogdoad) who comprised the primordial substance,interacted explosively ans snapped whatever ballanced tensions had contained their elemental powers....resulting in the Sun.
In a continuation of ,or an intrusion into,the original Myth,it was Thoth that flew,carrying the cosmic egg to the primeval mound at Hermopolis,from which the sun was born.
