The book of Revelation is not as confusing as some would want you to believe it is. The people are the sea. Interesting is the Islamic Mahdi belief and the fact that the last Immam (sp) rides the white horse Barack.
Another aspect is the figs spoken of in the verse. One would have to be very familiar with the parable of the fig tree to see all that is in that reference. Also remember the parable of the wheat and the tares. I do find the idea of it tying into the chakras interesting, but I also see it as outwardly. Should the earth's poles suddenly change it would probably flip and thus the heavens would appear to roll up suddenly. So, we have a spiritual deception, followed by famine and war. I can see the economy crashing, foot shortage and some countries deciding to attack all at once fitting into our near future easily. We have always had wars, famine and deception though, so who is to say what the timing is. |
