This is from an email I recieved from pyrangello regarding the late great Charlton Heston who was head of the NRA (National Rifle Association) and also a great actor.
At least for countries thinking of invading us, this might be food for thought! All these guns and he never committed one crime, guns don't kill people , bad people are the ones that pull the trigger for illegal acts. " When good men do nothing evil prevails " God rest his soul! Charlton Heston 's family still is part owners of a 1000 acre parcel in the small town I live in here in michigan . The original cabin is still on the property too. His childhood home is still on the lake as well about 5 blocks from my house.
I've met people around here who knew him as a kid, great stories. Hey whatever you think of his hobby, he had the money, the passion, and a deep love for the USA as many , many, americans do including myself. After all thats how this country got started anyways not by doing the worng things with guns but choosing to defend the right issues of freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. |

So?
Lots of men are grove members. That doesn't mean they all morph onto reptilians at night and drink the blood of helpless children. My brother went to his house to pick up a pair of shoes he donated to an auction to raise money for the Systic Fibrorsis Foundation years ago. He was polite, old-fashioned regular fellow. I collect antique swords. I don't have very many (only 3 found at garage sales), but if I had the bucks. I'd probably have a roomful. Touche! Paul |

No, I'm sure in their private lives they are all very kind to their mothers and help small, injured furry animals. It's when they all go to work and cluster-**** the human race that people start having a problem with them.

Sorry if I contributed to a tangent Dan, no offence. Personally I've been researching UFOs and stuff for so long if someone opens a door like that one and there isn't something alien behind it it's a bit of an anticlimax.
![]() I remember seeing something a few years ago on a Chris Tarrant program, one of those that takes the **** out of TV around the world. There were a load of busty women in bikinis firing a mind-boggling array of automatic weapons from assault rifles to things that needed mounting (no pun intended) to be fired without ripping their own arms off. I've never seen anything like it, I couldn't stop laughing. Maybe it's a brit thing, but I just don't get the gun culture you guys have over there. The right to bear arms is one thing but semi-naked ladies firing ordnance that should be welded to a battleship at nothing just goes way over my head. ![]() |

When are people going to realise that these celebrities, stars, politicians etc are all pulling the veil over our eyes.
yes okay the guy may have a nice collection of guns or what ever else but when it comes down to the nitty gritty here he is just another one of those who have made bucks of money out of the people like you and me who are starting to realise just how we have been duped in to thinking this world is a fantasy world for these actors who behind closed doors do exist in a different world to us and do join these so called clubs to better themselves and ultimately keep the common man and woman down in the slavery levels of their pyramid agenda. No sorry i can not see any celebrity in a favourable light shame really because i quite likes Charlton Heston too!! Look at the film the Planet of the apes that he acted in i think there is a message there if anyone can see for themselves. |

No problem Steve G, I probably shouldn't have even bothered to say anything about it.
I've seen some videos on youtube about what you're talking about, LOL Jacqui D, there's a lot of his movies actually that you could look a lot deeper into, like Soylent Green, The Omega Man, The Ten Commandments, and so on, but I don't get star struck like a lot of people, and yes we all put money in their pockets everytime we saw a movie but what are you going to do, stop watching movies? I'm not. The gun thing is hard to describe to those that have never enjoyed them. I've been shooting guns since I was 6 years old and probably younger if you count BB guns, so it's really nothing to me. I look at them as more of a fun hobby than anything else. It's just natural to me to be around them and it's a lot of fun to go shoot some holes in stuff, LOL Guns are totally safe with only one safety rule, never point them at anybody!, period. If you live by that rule and follow that rule than they're as safe as can be. My dad used to let me take any gun I wanted and go hunting with my friends and not even think twice about it, and that was at 10 years old. I could go on and on but guns are just common things here and everybody I know has them and doesn't really give it much thought. |

Well, I'll put my two cents in for what it is worth! I think there was much more to this man than just his gun collection and his backing of the gun lobby. I think he knew what was happening to his country and was doing his bit for the continueing freedom of America and her people. I did not at all condone his stance on guns, but that was his take ,his perspective. I think his heart was in the right place.
I havent had to time to view that video Luminari, but I will. It may be the same one that I saw years ago which Charlton Heston hosted. It was about the origins of the Great Pyramid. It was fantastic, well researched. It connected the pyramid builders with Atlantis. Charlton Heston knew much more than was ever evident from what he said! Cheers Carmen |
