Twelve Conditions of a Miracle
From ‘What are the Twelve Conditions of a Miracle,’ by Todd Michael, based on his discovery from the literal translation of the biblical story Miracle of the Loves and Fishes. In the beginning there was potential (logos, the word), there was emptiness (an unusual environment because it is usually devoid of any substantial resources... a vacuum which possesses the tremendous potential to be filled. Like a magnet, a vacuum exerts a force that pulls things inexorably toward. The emptier it is - the more powerful the attractive force it exerts on the surrounding environment. Spirit abhors a vacuum. A vacuum is a state, a condition. Consider the greatest of all miracles – the creation of the universe itself. Before anything came into being, perfect emptiness existed - no space, no time, and no matter. Spirit filled the void with the ever expanding universe. Translation... Jesus went away into the desert, alone. There he withdrew his self, or ego, by going down into a state of emptiness and inner stillness – a place or “condition” of potential. He put emptiness to work so that good things would flow to him.. He let go of all though, good or bad and only attended to the present moment. This is the sate of deep meditation and establishes a vacuum a the spiritual and mental level. The right kind of spiritual power – that allows one to change things. “The conscious mind has only one truly useful function, and that is to make the decision to turn itself off.” Arnold Patent Miracles unfold not by magic but by knowledge. First one must achieve inner stillness. That is where the statement of “I and the Father are One” comes into play. Christian mystics call the state of perfect stillness “Christ Consciousness.” In the state of oneness, one is then tapped into the power of all potential. To create a vacuum one must release so as to unblock the flow of incoming energy and resources. Create an empty space now to attract the flow back into your life. I. Emptiness. Calmly release whatever you are withholding from the world: Giving creates a vacuum for more to flow in. II. Alignment. Shift to a mind-set of compassion and the greater good; move from the concern over yourself to the concerns of others. III. Asking. Clarify your true needs. If you don’t clearly put your request into words, the universe won’t even know to respond. Clarifying in your mind the essence of what you lack. Is what yo want the same thing you are withholding from others: Calmly release whatever you are withholding. Concentrate on the essence, not the superficial specifics. Then begin an objective, penetrating examination of your thoughts, attitudes and behavior. Make sure you understand how you are blocking your own flow by withholding this very thing from the world around you. IV. Maximizing. Make full use of your existing tools, resources, and blessings. Whatever you focus on expands. Focus on what you have. V. Giving. What flows away from you flows back magnified: Become a joyful giver. Begin to calmly release some of your resources. Take it easy. Do not release so much that you strain yourself or cause undue anxiety, but make sure you get the job done. VI. Grounding. Experience the present moment as much as possible. A solid grounding in the present establishes a firm base from which to act – and receive. VII. Visualizing. Using all of your senses, see and feel yourself having the feelings and experiences that form the basis of your wish. VIII. Gratitude. Bless your resources. Express your feelings of gratitude in words. IX. Acting as If. Stop procrastinating. Take the leap of faith and act as though your new reality has already manifested. X. Engaging the Cycle. When you receive, immediately look for a way to give something back. Work with the circular energy flow that characterizes our universe. XI. Receiving. Eat and be filled. The act of adequate receiving is often overlooked. XII. Recycling. Gather up the fragments: Reuse all of your physical resources. Don’t throw anything away without asking yourself, “Is there some way this can be reused?” Recover all of your physical resources. |

I like it! I read the book and then laid the information aside. Thank you for reminding me to use it again.

Everyday miracles: The placebo effect. The thing that is completely dismissed as meaningless in every scientific study without acknowledging it for what it is -- self-healing. A miracle, some would say. Who needs the AMA?
