Ufo 3/18/09 long beach, ca.

It could be a railroad crossing barrier lifted in the air or a bridge warning barrier?Just a thought as sometimes you have to look at things from different perspectives.

Below is a posting of what a guy saw and reported on another forum.
I live in So Cal--Long Beach and about an hour ago my neighbor came running to the door because there was a huge UFO hovering low in the sky right over our neighborhood. She took over 60 pictures and some are well defined with a clear disc shape and lights in every window. This is truly exciting and scary all at the same time! She sending me the pics right now and I'll post them ASAP!

When I came out to see it, I caught the end of the sighting and the thing took off horizontally and was gone in the blink of an eye going towards Huntington Beach. There were over 10 helicopters including military scrambling to look for this thing and I can still hear them out there. We're directly under the landing path for LB airport and all air traffic was diverted for almost 45 minutes while they were searching for this craft.

This is insane and my kids are really freaked out right now. The space shuttle and the ISS were visible over Long Beach, CA from 7:48 to 7:51 p.m., but this thing was only several hundred feet above my house.

Cool!, there's some good pics on a couple of those links.They all look like some kind of line or something. And why would any ET's go to the bother of painting their ships red and white? LOL!

Wow. Interesting object.

At first, I thought it was landing lights for an airport but on closer inspection of one of the photos (zoomed-out by the way), it certainly doesn't look normal at all. Interesting shape though.
