I read his works 10 years ago. I had read numerous books on all topics and have read, watched, listened to all manner of topics to this day on all that is plausable, possible, what ever the mind can think of.
I regard myself as well informed, intelligent, an ability to understand all thought forms. I have questioned everything I can possibly think of. With ALL the mountains of info avaliable these days I still come back to "Conversations with God" that we are all part of all there is. ALL THERE IS. How each of us is spread across all there is, experiencing all there is, all at the same time (not that time exsits) we are all there is(creation/god, lack of a better word) There is no "right or wrong" just experiences to learn from "what serves us best". To understand everything we must understand nothing...to understand love n light we must understand hatred and darkness...to have and understanding of anything we must understand its opposite. I love his work... Would be great to hear from others who have read his work also. peace, love, respect, understanding = grief free exsistence ![]() |

I have read all of his books..very inspiring.
![]() I also watched a movie that was made about his work and how his conversations started..it was not too bad either....I only wish it had a bit more inspiration at the end..it was a little lack luster for a movie but ...the intention was there...and over all his work is something I would recommend reading all of his books though...very inspiring I too am inspired by being here for the experience of all that is...it's really just a walk in the park, this life of ours....how we need to learn to enjoy our time here....and not take it as the be all and end all of who we really are....this is just an experience...one of many....so make it as meaningful and joyful as possible...there is so much more to come ![]() |

Yep I've read them all, including his very newest one "When Everything Changes..Change Everything".
CWG 1-3 and "The New Revelations" were my favourites. Brilliant books. |

I definitely think every human being in this planet should read these books more than once, all complexities of life are there.
For those who are afraid of death I highly recommend Home with God but not before reading Conversations with God, is truly inspiring, funny and interesting which is a lot to say when the subject is the most dreaded moment of our lives: DEATH!. They are really life changing, even my nephews and nieces which are in their 17s and 18s loved the books, when I asked one of them what he liked the most, he said: knowing that God always always loves me no matter what; one of nieces said: knowing that I am a co-creator with God. Now, all of them think there's too much drama in people's daily lives and that if people knew how to handle better the day to day, the world would be a much better place for all of us. It took some convincing to get them to read the books but now they're happy they did. |

I've given away quite a few books and I've been dissapointed to find out that most people are not ready for them, just the title is a big barrier, many think is a religious book or something very very boring even though I try to explain that they relate to life in general, I feel most of them are not interested in improving their life regarding many problems they have or perhaps they're not into God. Well, I guess it's not for everybody.

Yes Cloud, you are absolutly right...The name loses most ppls and then they just dont hear you when you try to explain
Maybe called "Converstions with Your-self" would work for more? Last edited by Ross H; 02-28-2010 at 10:31 AM. |
