Default New law to allow police to collect DNA in secret from teacups

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...t-teacups.html
MI5 and the police may be allowed to secretly collect genetic samples from items such as cigarette butts and teacups under new laws that could massively expand the national DNA database.
The powers would allow investigators to break in to suspects’ homes to collect DNA which could then be shared with foreign governments to check for links to crime and terrorism.
The new law, being discussed by Parliament, would mean the ‘stolen’ samples – thousands of which have already been taken by the security services – would be admissible in court and at a stroke hugely expand the Government’s controversial DNA database.
cont. on link above.

Makes you proud to be British dunnit?

I find it so hard to believe that so many people STILL can't accept that something is wrong in the world.

...ummm nope!

As if we aint spied on enough with all the CCTV cameras, huge amounts of data collected from store loyalty cards, 'confidential surveys', inordinate amounts of personal data held by utility/service providers.. ( I used to work in network surveillance for the UK largest ISP, and the amount of data held on each customer is staggering!) DSS, Inland Revenue etc..

Big Brother is definitely watching..

The collecting of DNA is now also done in a Fun-way:

Children can now give their DNC voluntarily so they can find out who their far ancestors were.
There is no guarantee about where the results are going or where they will be used for when this fake story has been forgotten.

I remember the police came to my school and showed us how they took finger prints, they gave us all a card and said we could fill it out and print our prints if we wanted to, they said they would not keep them, yea right
