Why is no one discussing the digital TV thing?

Dantheman...thanks for giving it the "old college try"...however, that is the answer that I believe falls into the catergory of "what we are being fed". I am not professing to have a working knowledge of bandwidths or the like...but that answer does not resonate for me as truth. I am truly afraid (a bit embarrassed to admit this) that this change over will be the beginning of a true zombie nation. People are acting more and more strangely and I am very concerned about what will be coming out of the TV that we are not aware of. It has already been going on for years and I am certain that it is about to get a whole lot uglier.
