Agree - sharpening knives is fun.

I use a stone, and the process is almost a meditation in itself.

I'll try the files though - where do you get them from?

How about the cosmetics section at Chemworld..


I could have used something like this today. We cleaned
five roosters. I used my stone repeatedly but our knives
were adequate and nothing more.

Anchor try the supermarket. Safeway's cosmetic section should have them.

Ok I feel dumb now. I first thought they were some new kind of file, now I realise what.

I wouldn't use them on my knives unless they do them in 8000 grit
