Im extremely open to giving channeled material a fair chance before being overly critical.

After all.. they couldn't possibly lie to us more than our governments, the military, the corporations, the media, the health/pharmaceutical industry, the education system, the scientists, religion..

Sorry, Luminari. I understand your point. We must have an open mind and give things a fair chance, or else we never grow beyond what we've come to believe, what we've been told. And lied to about.

I've listened to many channellers, and thought about the message they were bringing. On the surface, most of them appear to giving good information. In my humble experience (and yours will not be the same as mine, because you're a different person), on closer examination, many of them seem to have something "else" going on. Sometimes the something else feels like a trap, or an outright lie to me. Sometimes it's merely like the entity is playing a game with its audience (or its vessel) to milk their emotions for energy feeding purposes.

So I still listen to them, but I bring a good dose of discernment with me. If anything feels wrong, I move on. If there is information that rings true for me, I accept it. Even if it's a mixed bag-- some good info among other things that feel off-- I can still take the part that feels right and leave the rest.

One channeller who I actually respect is Tom Kenyon, who channels the Hathors. You may already know him, but here's the link to his website:

I have found the Hathors' information to be reasonable, and the meditations they give are quite useful (to me). They aren't trying to start a new religion, and they don't appear to be trying to "trap" us. They just are what they are. And Kenyon himself has other things going on, so the Hathors aren't his "gimmick."

Maybe it's the very term "channelling" that puts me off. It might be easier to take if people presented their messages as their own higher insights, rather than special revelation from higher entities. Because, after all, EACH of us can access such insight through our own connection to our source.

I'm just saying.
