I think there's a difference between disclosure and a contact event. If some other country hosts this event, it doesn't mean that this country will suddenly change its tune about the stuff it is keeping secret.

Also, this isn't prophecy, it's planning. Will the event happen as planned? That remains to be seen. If the event happens will this country allow coverage of the event to be broadcast? Another big question mark for that one.

I've been to a CSETI training. Pretty much all you need to know about making contact you should learn and practice BEFORE going to such a training. You can get this from Greer's books, CSETI printed materials, and Greer's guided meditation CDs for considerably less than going to a week long training session. The training itself I found to be a good break from routine so I could spend a week focusing on meditation. I met many interesting people and saw and experienced some amazing things. Well worth it to me. There are many people who go to these sessions many times. I met one fellow who's been to sessions every year since the first year. He had some stories. When Greer says he's never had a session that didn't involve something amazing happening, he means it.

The central concept in ET contact is something Greer calls "coherent thought sequencing". This involves entering a meditative state, remotely viewing the earth from space (or visualizing the same), getting some ETs to notice you, then zooming in to your location on earth (Google Earth is a great tool for learning what this looks like). This can and should be practiced outside of a CSETI workshop - but be prepared because it does work and interesting things can happen.

There have been people who have posted on this forum who have simply asked for the ETs to show their craft without doing all of this - and succeded. Good intentions and a desire for peaceful contact seem to matter more than the procedure used.

I've started to organize a CSETI working group in my area (south-central Indiana), and there should be working groups in other areas. They can sometimes be hard to find. I'm not interested in having curiosity seekers in my group, and I doubt anyone else is. Figuring out whether you can trust someone that contacts you online is difficult. If you are still not convinced that UFOs exist and want "proof", or you are hung up on the good ET vs bad ET nonsense, don't bother. You aren't ready.

It's important that you want to get beyond just seeing a UFO. The most important aspect is raising your own consciousness so that you can begin to interact with ETs on their level (I'm still working on that).

C77 went to one of Greer's workshops and has been vectoring in ET crafts for over a year now. He even had them show up in his living room and had the presence of mind to take pictures. He is almost finished with his book and has lots of photos of crafts vectored in.

Jnana: thank you for sharing your experience with the CSETI training....I am currently trying to find out if there is a working group anywhere in my area. I have also ordered the consciousness meditation cd's. Can you name specifically the manual to get that would help us to learn it on our own? I would still dearly love to attend a formal training session. I was hoping that Dr. Greer was training people to go out into the world and train others in their own areas, but that does not seem to be in the works yet.

It's difficult for me to remember out of all the stuff I've read what would be best. The "Hidden Truth - Forbidden Knowledge" book and associated CD "Guided Meditations From Hidden Truth Forbidden Knowledge" is probably a good place to start.

There's also a CD called "Coherent Thought Sequencing" which gets right to the point - this is part of the "CSETI Working Group Training Kit" (not cheap, but it's a pretty good stack of materials and includes a number of CDs - there's also a cheaper download option). Much of the material in the Working Group Training Kit is covered in Greer's books in one way or another, so getting it just for the CTS CD may not be all that satisfying. On the other hand, if you do go to a workshop, you already have the training materials and won't have to buy them again. [www.cseti.org for others reading this who want to find out more]

Well, that has been the plan all along and there are a number of such groups around the world. At the training, people are encouraged to take what they have learned and start their own groups. It just seems that there aren't that many people that DO it. Also, some people might think that publicizing the existence of such a group is not a good idea and they just work with people they already know. Some give it a try but don't keep it up. It's not as easy to keep such a group going as it might seem. I'm fortunate in that I've met several others in my area who have been to CSETI training and are motivated to get out and sit under the stars - as long as I act as instigator and organizer.

Thanks for listening to that short section of the full interview. As a general rule of thumb, I listen more carefully to people who talk about self-empowerment rather than focus on the victim mentality that seems to have overwhelmed our civilization.

What a wonderful world we could start building if there were thousands of individuals all over the world starting their own contact groups.

Well there seems to be lots of stories floating around about disclosure...let hope it just around the corner...

Steven M. Greer MD, founder and director of The Disclosure Project (www.DisclosureProject.org) will be speaking in Denver in the Turnhalle Room at the Tivoli Student Union building on the Auraria Campus on Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 7:30 to 10:00 pm.

Dr. Greer launched the world-wide Disclosure movement to end UFO secrecy and is currently advising members of Congress, foreign heads of state, and figures very close to the Obama Administration on how to best control currently illegal classified projects related to UFOs. This secrecy, aside from being illegal, has denied humanity wondrous new sources of energy generation that would rapidly solve the environmental and energy crises. In this sense, the reason for the secrecy is simple: old fashioned greed and lust for power...”

Recently, Dr. Greer has been working with senior members of a G7 country to initiate open contact with the extraterrestrial civilizations that are responsible for some of the UFO sightings around the world. This historic breakthrough will be reviewed at the Denver presentation, and a workshop on the CSETI contact protocols will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2009, also at the Tivoli Student Union building on the Auraria Campus, from 1:30 to 6:00 pm.
