Thanks Carmen

I think I will tape it and watch it after work.

It sounds like he did a lot of research into Freemasonry. I didn't think I would want to see Dateline or the movie until I saw the commercial for it, but I think now I would like to check it out.

I'm sure it will have more meaning to those of us who do so much research into these fields as we have a background to base it on.

Inside the small stone box is the deciphering code.

Of an ancient mystery buried deep within the bowels of the Capitol Building!

Ain't it oddly fitting since NBC headquarters at 30 Rockefeller that they are the ones promoting Dan Brown the most.
(I wonder what degree freemason Matt Lauer is?)

The
secret hides
within The Order

1514 A.D.

A clue??

Then~ comes a call to arms!

In a quiet neighborhood just west of Embassy Row in Washington,
there exist a medieval-styled walled garden whose roses, it is said,
spring from twelfth-century plants"

[
just within this walled sanctuary~ there's a Carderock gazebo-known as Shadow House.
In the gazebo sits a tiny hunched backed old man with
elfin features. There~ a young helper finds him taking in some air......
the young man brings a strange message from a caller....

"Is there no help for the widows son?"

Question Re: Dan Brown's~ Lost Symbol

meanwhile
back to searching for cues...

What's this?

The Seal of Soloman (superimposed) upon the Great Seal of the United States!

Conspiracy theorists frequently point out that the Freemasons left clues that they created the seal, "for those with eyes to see." The symbol has several meanings, some of which represent complex mathematics. Again, this is a repetition of the Pythagorean tetraktys superimposed over itself, with one in the masculine blade position, pointing upward, and the feminine chalice or yoni position, pointing downward. This is the alchemical union of opposites, masculine and feminine. Also, when these lines are drawn, the points of the hexagram point to the letters A, S, N, O, and M, which theorists then point out is an anagram for MASON. Novus Ordo Seclorum means, New Secular Order, which some choose to relate to the New World Order.

within the ( all watching) CIA HQ

Director Inoue Sato's System's Security Team

this mystery/mess with a broad sweep!

While our hero and heorine
Robert Langdon & Katherine Solomon

By a DC~ Cab

and Metro

From downtown DC's Freedom Plaza~

To Alexandria's King Street Metro
which just happen's to be next to
The GW Masonic Temple!

Back to DC's upper NorthWest Tenleytown

Now off the grid~
our hero and heroine....
walk past the medievil style garden
with the gazebo > called Shadow House ~

for an arranged secret meeting ~
nearby
at Washington's highest mount.

As they both gaze upwards ~

Question Re: Dan Brown's~ Lost Symbol

Very intriguing~ no caste

The Wheaton Station and its (very long) escalator > would almost seem impossible for a deer to navigate down

The remoteness of the tunnel between Forest Glen and the Wheaton
station makes any logical explanation almost mind boggling as well??

But then again~ maybe~ the deer took the station elevator
Or > maybe it's just another Washington mystery
just waiting to be solved

Let me know if you find out

Note~ I use to live within walking distance of that metro station
in Wheaton, and also worked right next to the White Flint Mall~
May I ask are you a Washingtonian by chance?

To bring order from total chaos~

"One of history's best known magic squares is the order-eight published in 1769 by American scientist Benjamin Franklin, and which became famous for its inclusions of never before seen "bent diagonal summations." Franklin's obsession with this mystical art form most likely stemmed from his personal associations with the prominent alchemists and mystics of his day, as well as his own belief in astroogy, which were the underpinnings for the predictions made in his Poor Richard's Almanack
(TLS 388).

"Robert Langdon's mind floated through the emptiness of space. He peered into the infinite void, searching for any points of reference?
He found nothing.
Total darkness. total silence. Total peace.
There was not even the pull of gravity to tell him which way was up.
His body was gone.
This must be death."

All at once, Robert Langdon began to remember. The image tore through him...vivid and distrubing.
He was staring up at a face that was covered with tattoos....
His captor was chanting something.
Verbum signifiatium...Verbum omnificum... Verbum perdo..."
(TLS 402).

"Light!!
The endless void in which Langdon hovered was suddenly filled by a blinding sun. Rays of white-hot light streamed across the blackness of space, burning into his mind...suddenly within the radiant cloud before him, a beautiful silhouette appeared...two eys staring at him across the void...Langdon wondered if he was looking into the face of God.

Sato stared down into the tank, wondering if Professor Langdon had any idea what had happened...After a handful of rebirths and subsequent drownings, the prisoner became so disoriented that he had no idea if he was alive or dead...and he would tell the interrogator absolutely anything"
(TLS 412-3).
