After standing back and then taking a second gander, the perfection of this phenomenon with the spiraling effects can not be from a rocket that went bad. Not with a event horizon field at 3 miles across. You're better off saying it was done with Photo Shop. Plus a 2 to 3 minute dispersal that held it's integrity together. Not rockets. Maybe to many people over there eating hot pockets. I got my rubberized snow boots on so bring it on. Plus my rain suit. So I'm ready!

Yes this is true in my mind too and I have thought about it.
So ok it is a spiral portal.

The missile theory is not impossible, but for a missile to create such an event there are too many variables that have to be met perfectly. To me, that theory relies on a sequence of highly improbable events that could not even be recreated if we invested billions to back it up. It sounds alot like like 9/11, the first scyscraper in history to collapse due to a fire. Too much sketchy evidence. The gov saying it`s a missile test lead me to doubt the explanation even further considering what the US gov said happened on 9/11.

Yes...a missile test they knew nothing about in the morning of the event.

The fact that someone can simulate it in 3d using a simple particle cloud, and made it look almost exact despite the short amount of time it took him to make the video.... If he were to spend more time he could have made it look exactly like it was.

Ok it looks like it could happen on the simulator.

It also looks as though its being illuminated from below also.

Surly one can work out the wind speed from the time it takes for the cloud to dissipate? If this matches up with the wind speed on the day then I would be more inclined to go with a missle. If the wind speed doesnt match up then its somthing eles.

Much of the "light" in the photos appears to be smoke being illuminated from other light source(s). Looking at the stills it appears that smoke hung in the air after the flames burnt out and is illuminated from below giving this beam like effect. The best photo IMHO shows the light source on the ground, the small spiral of smoke within the larger cone/spiral of lighter smoke with the tight white spiral in the air. From that photo it seems to be a projectile of some sort spinning and expelling two smoke trails while assending into the atmosphere at an acute angle leaving a large spiraling cone of lighter smoke with a darker center trail.

I imagine this would have looked very different in the light of day.
