Radiant zones - times ahead

I just want to know what everyones thoughts are on fear and love.
They are extreme opposites. I agree that in order for radiant zones to take light they need to be filled with love, peace. However you can't ignore the opposite of it: fear. Without fear, love wouldn't exist.

What are your thoughts on the Taoism concept of the balance of opposite extremes? If a bear attacks a human in the wilderness. there are two things at play: The bears' love for her cubs. therefore, she defends them. She also fears that the human poses a threat. This is the act of balance of both extremes in nature.

Many people think yin and yang are opposites and at war with eachother. That is wrong, i think. Look at the motion of the two opposites harmonizing with eachother. The harmonization of softness and hardness. Water can be soft and both HARD. A person who is strong can also be gentle. A If a weak person is gentle, it is still weakness because he/she lacks the harmony of strength.

We all are ingrained with extreme polarity.
The old paradigm is all about extreme polarity.
The shift we are experiencing now is pushing us into unity.

We could use new words to express more unity and for that end I posted this attachment.

Love is often paired with fear as its natural opposite...along with hatred. Yet all these are forms of passion, so how can they be true opposites? The opposite of passion is indifference, and that's the biggest danger of all.

The opposite of fear is...courage? No, for courage without fear is simple bravado, even stupidity. The man or woman who proceeds in the face of fear is the true exemplar of courage.

Can we not love even though we fear? And why can love not exist without fear?

You are certainly on the right track! I think that we obsess too much on definitions. Which is more important: the resonance of our intent, or whether we agree on the polar opposite of love? The yin-yang symbol expresses duality in balance. It expresses energy. If the wheel is all white or all black, how then can we tell if it is moving or not?

It is true that the two halves are in opposition...day/night, male/female, right/left/ active/passive, etc. But look at those pairs of words...aren't your hackles already rising a little because male/female looks so much like positive/negative? Therein lies the mystery and the challenge of duality, for instead of seeing them as opposites we must realize they are complements. They are different aspects of the same thing, not two forces at war with one another.

I invite you to consider how we mangle the idea of love. It is sad and unfortunate that our English language, so incredibly rich in linguistic gems, has only one word for love. So I must use the same word for a variety of emotions and descriptions: I love you. I love to hike. I love creamed peas. The real poverty of our language becomes clear when we turn the verb around as in, Jesus loves me. Do you love me? Who do you love more?

The Greek language has at least six words for love. We all know eros. There are words for love of country, brotherly love, and divine love which is agape. Porneia needs no translation. The Greeks were philosophers (philo=brotherly love of sophia=wisdom).

One other idea I'd like to plant: both fear and love, along with the lack thereof, are choices.

Just wanted to remind those of you who were seeking for a very peaceful sanctuary, in which to discuss things in serenity, that my friends Zynox, eXchanger, and a few others from here, and I, have created a new Zone:

In this new social network type setting, we have the ability for chats, and blogs, and featured videos, and we have also opened several forums, ranging from radiant zones technology to spirituality, to astro advisories, to healing, and many other aspects of sane preparations.

We have healers and experts on Oriental medicine, other astrologers, and a few techies too, who have joined. Some are discussing Krishnamurti there too.

What we do NOT discuss in there are all the "conspiratorial" and fear or disinfo-laden issues, we left that at the coat hanger when we enter that zone.

It is a varied interests zone, what we all have in common is we are outside of "right" and "wrong", free of "fear" and other unconducive things to create radiant zones. Those who had interacted with me in my threads here have now joined, and a few more are coming there to exchange their expertise and ideas. So far we have about 40 nice members there, most know each other already.

Welcome there also, if you feel you wish to contribute long term in peace.

Nice topic.

One of my own favorite books is Krishnamurti's first book "At the Feet of the Master" which I've found quite inspiring and filled with great wisdom.

Booklet would be a more proper name than book though as it is not very big at all, but what it contains is of great size.

Quote from the introduction:

THESE are not my words; they are the words of the Master who taught me. Without Him I could have done nothing, but through His help I have set my feet upon the Path. You also desire to enter the same Path, so the words which He spoke to me will help you also, if you will obey them. It is not enough to say that they are true and beautiful; a man who wishes to succeed must do exactly what is said. To look at food and say that it is good will not satisfy a starving man; he must put forth his hand and eat. So to hear the Master's words is not enough; you must do what He says, attending to every word, taking every hint. If a hint is not taken, if a word is missed, it is lost forever; for He does not speak twice.

Four qualifications there are for this pathway:

Discrimination

Desirelessness

Good conduct

Love

What the Master has said to me on each of these I shall try to tell you.
