Simply put, negotiation is cheaper than war. There is no good, plausable reason to not sit down with Iran and discuss the future of the Middle East. After all, Iran lives there, the U.S. doesn't.

I think it is great - perhaps now, if we can get Iran on board and respect their sovereignty, a solution to the exacerbated Middle East crisis will be at hand.
