Indeed, it is very true. We live in a highly manipulated mental reality. "There is a lie at every level" Hoagland's friend said. This is also true for the mass. There is a lie in every section of the social system.

Icke might be used by the same people against who he seems struggling, to some degree.

I agree with Burgundia: "I really doubt it will be Obama's fault if he is only a puppet. If not him, then somebody else, what difference does it make. The fact that he wasn't born in USA can be always used against him when 'the necessity arises"."

The public faces are the most influenced and certainly not the more significant.

Take the catholic roman church for example. The real power behind it (I'm talking about the institution, and not the church of the people at the base community level) is not in the pope's and cardinal's hand. The real hierarchy of power is behind the scene and the members who constitute it could be simple monk or priest, but with significant power over the institution. It is an old efficient way to govern which is at its best used today in every section of the social system.

And if they can corrupt the social system, they would also corrupt any old prophecy with significant impact over the mass.
