Pachelbel Canon in D is the most requested and suggested wedding music in the Atlanta area. (I'm talking live string quartet.) After listening to violin music being played and rehearsed for the past eleven years (three times a week) it has definitely changed my "waves" and I'm not the player. (My daughter studies the Suzuki method.) The children taking these lessons, and performing live, have huge increases in math ability, among other things. Just being around it all of the time has helped balance my energy, and the music lessons are producting unexpected genius all around. Thanks, Tango. Is it just Pachelbel? Linda

Tango, awesome thread great work ! a little something....I have been meditating daily for just over a year now, and physically I have noticed that I have not been sick for the same amount of time. no colds nothing... I dont really focus on health but I do focus on love ALOT. I also do a sort of walking meditation of mindfulness that helps me in dealing with daily things in a different way than i use to. Also, I am a musician of over 35 + years , I have always found classical music very soothing, although i play rock professionally. Until I started meditating, music was the only thing i had as an outlet, a way to deal with life, my connection to something bigger. Now things are wholly different for me. So you could say Im living proof that all that is talked here with regard to music , brain waves etc.. is true and has a profound impact on you & everyone around you, if you let it.

This Pachelbel Canon is such a strong piece of music that can settle in your brain and body. It always makes my tears running and afterwards I feel so relieved and clear.
My grandchildren study the Suzuki method also at the Waldorf school. This Canon is one of the first things they learn to play.
