Here is a beautifull story that Greybeard shared with me ...

God's Wings
After a forest fire in Yellowstone National Park, forest rangers began their trek up a mountain to assess the inferno's damage. One ranger found a bird literally petrified in ashes, perched statuesquely on the ground at the base of a tree. Somewhat sickened by the eerie sight, he knocked over the bird with a stick. When he gently struck it, three tiny chicks scurried from under their dead mother’s wings. The loving mother, keenly aware of impending disaster, had carried her offspring to the base of the tree and had gathered them under her wings, instinctively knowing that the toxic smoke would rise. She could have flown to safety but had refused to abandon her babies. Then the blaze had arrived and the heat had scorched her small body, the mother had remained steadfast...because she had been willing to die, so those under the cover of her wings would live.

Yes, and sometimes we stole another fellow being's "fire". That's when we started getting lazy -- oh how the sins of the far far past manifest themselves in current life. One only needs to go as far as this lifetime, imho, to close the door on repeating the sins of the past.

Yes Gnosis and then narrow down this life time to the present moment to be free in the Now and just Be..The perspective has an entire new meaning when we can embrace it from our inner essence as pure beings .

"Himmel Uber Berlin" or "Wings of Desire" is the best movie of Wim Wenders, inspired by the novel of Peter Handke.
Among all of the semantic layers, this is the core:
There are two angels over the (divided) Berlin.
In spite of all angelic rules, one of them fall in love with a woman named Desire.
Because of Her, he wants to fall "down", to become a Human.
It is happening, he is down, his angelic armor falls over his head.
This video is my favorite part of this master piece, when ex-angel is making his first human steps.
The scene when he is happy to see his blood is pure anthology.
There is nothing spectacular in these sequences, but there is so much.
Watch the movie if you can.
I just want to say: It is not so bad being Human, you know...
