I don't know how to pray, never been to a church for religion, only once out of curiousity and i didn't like it, seeing most of the people behave well and during the week they are doing "crimes" and bad behaviour (small and big) to each other.

So i don't understand religious people what they are doing when they are praying.

Or is praying wishing something and keep it in your mind????

Forget about the link between religion and prayer. Just close your eyes and visualize, pray and know your thoughts no matter how small will add to the collective thoughts being sent out positively by all of us.

I hope this is not true but i keep thinking that Kerry could be right, the last bad recession in America was in 1929, this instigated the second world war!
I pray history is not going to repeat itself.
But it seems this is they way they go, how on earth in a recession they can orchestrate a war with millions that have to poured in to one, you have to laugh because where do they get the money to do that?

Read Kerry's post. I have no doubt that attempts are being made right now to get this war on in Iran. But I'm confident it will be derailed. People are slowly waking up to the deceit.

I too have some info about this, I know some people in the military and I'll leave it at that, that this is the direction they are leaning - unless they are stopped.

I propose that we do a meditation similar to the Intention Experiment. They are asking people to meditate on peace everyday this week for a specific target, Sri Lanka. They choose it because it's a small contained area that can be measured over a short time.

Every day at 9AM Pacific time people meditate for 10 min. It's very nice to do, actually.

I've looked into this quite a bit and have found that Iran has no nuclear weapons but they do have biologicals. Russia is in the gulf and in Iran and they have some nasty muke tipped missles called sunburn, all pointed at Israel. They are planted all over Iran and Syria as well. There is nothing to stop retaliation by Iran or Russia and no reason for them to completely hold back if attacked.

A large number of meditation groups and prayer groups have gone to violent areas and spent a week/month and seen a significant drop in crime and violence - as much as 40%. They also found that the higher the number of meditators/prayers, the better the results. The more, the merrier! If I can find the info, I'll post it.

They way that was found to be most effective is simply to find peace within ones self and let it flow and move to affected areas. Or hold the intention of peaceful resolution to conflict. It needs to be positive rather than negative like, "please don't let this war happen" or "end the violence".

Would anyone be interested in doing this for the next 2 weeks or so? We can pick 3 times during the day that will make it easy for people in all time zones. You pick the one that is good for you and meditate on peace between the white house, Israel, and Iran since that is where it's coming from.

Yes, great idea Robyn, I would love to participate in this. What a difference it makes to have people intending and holding peace/love ~ it has certainly made a difference in my own energy levels, just reading this board; I am sooo grateful for the people here ~ so many wonderful posts!!!

I know there is a worldwide initiative already somewhere for 11:11 every day, both am and pm; not sure where I found that one but I still do it as often as I remember to. Any time you all pick to do this one is fine with me!
