The Canadian Holocaust - Hidden from History - Native Canadians

It`s quite amazing how so many people don`t even know about the history of their own country. The Canadian government has treated our natives worst than dirt and no one seems to be aware of it or if they are, they don`t care. Either way it`s rather sad. So much so that during the OKA crisis the general public were more concerned about the traffic in the area as opposed to the reason why the folks on the Oka rez had to resort to such tactics to make themselves be heard.

We just recently avoided possibly another crisis of the sort and again because the Quebec government wanted to take away yet more land from the kahnawake folks to extend a highway. Now I guess the Quebec government learned something from the Oka crisis and a deal was reached.

So the fact that not a lot of people know or care about what Canada has done to it`s natives over the course of it`s history is equally embarrassing as the Governments actions. Canada is most definitely guilty of genocide without any question of doubt. As a proud Canadian I am embarrassed by the situation.

Those Canadians ain`t so "nice" after all eh.
