I would like to add my wife, Christina, as she's in the hospital now. She's been on new meds the past couple of weeks for her depression because we can't afford a couple of her old ones anymore. She hasn't been feeling right since then, but it was more like stuff she had experienced before when switching major meds, with withdrawl from one and the kicking in of another. Something possessed her last night after I went to bed. And I say possessed with it's correct meaning as I do not believe she was in control of herself. I went to bed around 12:30 am. 2 hours later her mom calls me to find her and check on her. She was still in the living room, and her dad was on her cell phone while she was trying to take a knife to her wrist. Fortunately she only scratched her wrist, so no real damage was done. I threw the knife away from her as she was sobbing "I want to go! Please, let me leave! I'm tired of fighting!" This was a suicide attempt that literally came out of nowhere, and she was hearing voices pounding her her head telling her to kill herself. This never happened before when she had another suicide attempt 18 months ago. I moved her into the bedroom to get her to lay down and try and calm her and fight off the negative sayings she was verbally inflicting on herself. At a point where I thought she was calming down, I tried to get a phone, but then she locked herself in the bathroom. We don't have a key or a long enough small, skinny screwdriver to unlock the doors, and I didn't have time to look for alternatives. So I busted through the door. Door is fine, but the frame needs to be fixed/replaced now (already called property manager about the situation, and she understood). I took away her shaving razor, as again she was trying to get it to cut her wrist (which wouldn't work at all). So I drag her back into the bedroom, still sobbing about lettering her go. I was able to get the phone and call 911. While I was on the phone, she looked at me, and with dark eyes and a deep voice (for her) commanding me to let her go. I could tell there was something demonic in her. Our pets (Pongo, a dalmatian, and Stigly, a cat) were running around trying to help her feel better, but to no avail. Once the EMTs and Police got there, we all had to try and restrain her so she could go on the gurnee. Handcuffs had to be used. Once at the hospital, she was put on restraints, and the way she was yelling, twitching, and fighting, it felt even more like a demonic possession. A couple of times she had some clairty. It wasn't until after they gave her a shot of somehing that sounded like "glockenspiel" that she became normal again and regained her normal conciousness. Needless to sy she was distrought by the whole event, and I was quite knackered. Once she was able to talk about things, she said she got a very bad headache after I went to bed, and that's when these voices started up. It dredged up all her negative emotions and controlled her to try and kill herself. But there was still a part of her that fought it off enough to actually call her parents and didn't put enough pressure on the knife to cause serious wounds. I told her what I felt was happening (which she didn't quite agree with the possession bit), but we both agreed her current mixture of meds may have been the trigger. She's doing OK as far as I know. I can't see her until 5pm when visiting hours in the mental health department. So if anyone cane help do some work and healing on her, we'd both be greatful.

Hi Everyone

I have been away awhile, which has been a work thing and not a point of choice. I do pop in and look and most times find I can't get into the site, or rather, I can't get past the welcome page. At the moment I can, so time for an update.

Thank you to all you absolutely wonderful, caring, and lovely Sisters and Brothers who give so freely from the heart. It is the essence of YOU that keeps me coming back here, for indeed, it is this Love you give so freely, the energy you share so selflessly which is a testament to an awakening world.

If you analyse things you will find that this is the core of people who stay away from negativity and insist on shining your light into dark places. You are those who stand out to me, and it is to you that I feel especially close, a true kinship.

Now, I was actually going to update you on my cancer. At first the growth on my shoulder "appeared" to get worse, and as I posted in the thread where I asked for healing, i do not go by appearance. I kept my faith intact. The first and most immediate sign of improvement was that the smell from the ulceration dissappeared. You can bet I was worried about it as the ulcer grew from where I could fit an ear bud into it to the size of a fifty cent coin. Al continued cleansing with peroxide and the lotion I was given. The wound started to clear and looked like a mini volcano, raised edges with a raw centre. If you used thumb and forefinger on either side you could feel that the visible portion was tiny compared to the mass hidden below. I would estimate that the hidden mass was the size of a golf ball. The quack said that I had to go have it removed and that it would take an extensive skin graft to repair the damage.
I don't like doctors, not on a personal level as they do what they are trained to, but rather the whole medical thing, leaves me cold. I have never trusted them from a very young age for good reason. As a result, I continued the cleansing and then had to leave for Malaysia. I forgot to pack the peroxide and cream. The cream is only obtainable after consultation with a "specialist" and at GREAT expense.
I noticed a rapid improvement, those of you who know this stuff will understand that these ulcers are unlike normal wounds and do not normally scab over, grow new skin and heal. Well, to cut a long story short, this is what is happening. The hidden mass is gone, the ulcer has closed and the "crater" scab has dried off and left clean skin. The "crater" is diminishing in size all the time, and of great importance, the "cancer itch" is gone. That is an itch that just will not go away, and is very different to a healing itch.

To Alll of You Special People, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Now, I need to ask you one more favour. I noticed yesterday that there are signs of a small one about 4 mm (1/5th inch) from my left eye tear duct toward the nose. I have had to have surgery before to remove them from my lower eyelids but refuse to go that route again. I would appreciate your efforts once more.

Here is something that everyone here may be interested in. About a month or so ago , around the time this particular thread started, I asked for people of this thread to meditate for / pray for my mother in law who is in the late stages of cancer. Well last week my mother in law informed me she got "positive news" Saying "the treatment she is on has seemed to reduced the size of the cancer growths a little" This is definitely good news ! I really didn't put 2 & 2 together until this morning, meaning I sincerely believe that all your / our good thoughts & intentions / prayers really is what made this happen.

Suggested Ways of Offering
the Medicine Buddha Mantra

There are many ways to offer the grace of Medicine Buddha. You may choose one or more of the suggestions below or create your own offering.

1. Sit in meditation and gently concentrate on your intention as you chant the Medicine Buddha Mantra in multiples of seven. Seven is the Medicine Buddha’s number.

2. Dedicate your first mantra to the UNIVERSE or all sentient beings, before focusing on a particular group or person.

3. Create a Medicine Buddha Altar.
Print or write the names of those you are requesting the blessings for. Lay the names on your alter in front of the Medicine Buddha image and light a votive candle. Chant the Mantra onto the altar and into the flame. Let the candle continue to burn until it goes out by itself.
Keep the written names and at the end of the lunar month or longer gather them and burn them or bury them in a garden. You might also save them and bring them to India (or to your local group) for burning in a Medicine Buddha Sacred Fire Ceremony.

4. You might want to form a group of people to chant the Medicine Buddha mantra for healing blessings.
Even a small group of two or three would be wonderful.

Remember that healing happens in many ways. Some are very obvious and some are not at all obvious.
Therefore in chanting this mantra “svaha” is a very important utterance and relinquishes the outcome to the Divine.
