Well, now that you mention it there are a number of things I could add to the healing list to focus on. I have Meralgia Paresthetica. It is weird, weird, weird. There is a sensory nerve that feeds the skin on the outside of the thigh. It has a tendency to get get pinched by the inguinal ligament in the groin.

So when I stand or walk it pinches and starts with a strange tingling, prickling right above the left knee on the outside of the leg. If I persist in standing/walking it goes through several other strange sensations ending up in 24/7 a strange static prickle like pain from the knee to the hip bone - and talk about interfere with sleep! And it will also affect the right side if I persist.

I tried the chiropractor, and all sorts of herbs and anti-inflammatories and stuff. I even gave in and drove 4 hours round trip for 3 $500 a piece cortisone shots given by some jerk of doctor. The shots took away the 24/7 pain but still did not allow walking/standing with recurrence.

So now I just run from chair to chair thankful that it doesn't affect the muscles or hurt when I sit or lay down. It's a rare condition that I have researched up one side and down the other. The next option is to try to surgically move the nerve or to cut it and then the whole side of thigh would just be numb. No insurance - forget that.

My best hope seems to be this lovely healing team here. Thank you all you lovelies ... you are all so special.

And I'm going to try to stay away from the computer.

I hear you all to well Karen for the last two months I`ve had internal pain in my Right arm wrist elbow right to the right shoulder Blade lifting my self out of bed brought shooting pain thru my back shoulder area thru to under my armpit don`t know what it is but I have lost the sensation in my right index finger the first knuckle just below the finger nail, sleeping is painful I take no meds and refuse to let the pain beat me My son had me laughing so hard the pain flared right up and i thought i was going to give in and go to the hospital . just tried to relax take warm baths and used a heating pad 24 /7 for a couple of weeks better now but still have no felling in the fingertip and have to watch how much weight i`m lifting

You sure are popular, Karen! You're such a good-willed person who never stops seeking to help, so it's time for the Universe to give you back some help. And I know that you can accept it all, because you're such a generous person, and like breeds like or something like that.

Now that we know what your health problem is, people can get to work on focusing healing energy on it. Some health problems need repeated doses for a while, but I'm sure we can keep the healing energy going for some time yet.
I also hope some of the other Moderators can arrange a Moderator Holiday for you so you can rest a little.

Karen,

Not being able to get rest and being in pain or near pain all the time is very hard to deal with, and I am sending soothing energy to you. I hope you practice resetting our parasympathetic system regularly because it would only be normal for you to be in a constant state of anxiety / stress from what you have shared.

Being not able to sleep sounds like no fun at all.

If you're fond of natural health books, two I recommend are Raymond Francis' Never Be Sick Again (he was allergic to everything!) and Andreas Moritz' Miracle Liver and Gallbladder cleanse (connecting with sauce put me onto that).

Actually it would be very easy to be a liver doctor, whatever the complaint of the patient, you just say, "You need to do a liver cleanse"

Maybe that's something to consider.

Also another favourite topic of mine: Maybe you need a break from Avalon. Try a complete break from the PC for a week (if you can). I swear these things run us down like batteries - and with the world the way it is as seen from Avalon, I'm surprised any of us sleep at night....

Go away from the PC ... and it all goes away.... trust me
