"new" 9/11 footage released after 8 years

I discovered in norwegian media an article informing about a new 9/11 memorial website with new, never before seen footage of the 9/11 "attacks".

My first response to this was: Why release this 8 years after the disaster? What purpose would this serve, other than trying to say: "Hey!, that really was what happened back in 2001! I promise!"

In what way can we ever give credibility to old footage that they may have had 8 years to tamper with?

Also, in the video showcased in the same article, it shows quite the close-up of a plane that looks like it enters a huge block of goo. The plane seems to disappear before it even really enters the building, like it is faded or crumpled up in the picture.

And finally, how come this ain't news anywhere else but this particular newspaper...everyone else missed something, or have they totally missed out on really old news...

this has always been out there in other videos and reports.

its just not sinking in to the brains of all of the people.

Many are on you tube ......we keep trying to get the info out there and if you check into this you will see the original dates are not current dates

I asked the journalist writing this article and she said it was picked up from the AP-videoservice. I found it here:

I then found this on the memorial site:

This suggest the same as you say, that this is old material that they only now have started collecting to the memorial site. It strikes me that this journalist might have misunderstood the project, which is to collect civilian stories and material regarding the incident. She corrected the source of her article when I mailed her with a question for lack of source.

I do believe that who ever sees this material and that of so many would pass it on to just one more person to wake them up.

The world does need to come together as I see so many all over the world, just as you showed us. that have not forgotten or want to let it go
