You must be kidding. Why would you be in the Forex market? This is still paper. Like we have been saying if you don't hold it you don't own it. You are still assuming that fiat currency is the way to go. And how are you going to pull your money out of your Forex account if their is a lockup in the system? You're still thinking it is going to be business as usual. I'll tell you what you keep playing in the casino and I'll use my money to protect my friends and family and take responsibility for my money and not trust it with a brokerage account or bank. Being that they have been soooooo good with our money. |

Re: What to do With the U.S. Dollar?
I am sorry but I disagree with silver and gold bars.
i think old american coins from pre 1964 are the safest bet. there are a lot of fraudulent gold and silver bars and as price escalates, there will be more that pop up. people are familiar with our silver coins and there are no fakes on the market in any significant numbers. people will trust them plus they are still valid currency in the us. FYI I am a cpa, a securities dealer and a futures trader myself. I trade in gold, silver, currencies, and oil. Namaste' |

Re: What to do With the U.S. Dollar?
i just bought 1000 morgan silver dollars at under $15 each. this is a premium over silver however i still think its worth it. i got mine from blue moon coins. they have a lot of silver and gold coins in stock. you can still get plenty of silver coins on ebay. the best place is your local coin shop if they have the supply. i live in a city of 60 thousand people and cannot get it locally.

Re: What to do With the U.S. Dollar?
According to George Green, get some "junk silver" old silver dimes for easier spending should the dollar no longer be accepted anywhere. He carries on him $5000.00 of gold coin so he can leave on a momen'ts notice. Seeing as that is about all I do have, this is not practical for me.

Some US Coins like the American eagle or any that is Stamped .9999 gold I would think would be ok to buy, they are just as good as any gold bars.I don't get my info off TV either, I am a avid gold & coin collector. Also would a Gold IRA be a bad way to go?Thanks.

Re: What to do With the U.S. Dollar?
I just talked with someone in the biz who told me that in an event of an emergency, the U. S. government can take all the citizens gold away, including bars, nuggets, dust, coins, except for coins deemed collectors. The collectors coins are more expensive though. That is the catch, but you can keep them when the gov decides that there needs to be a new currency. Which may be happening coming soon.

Re: What to do With the U.S. Dollar?
Hi to all, and I appreciate the input from everyone participating in this thread. But I have perhaps a very idealistic intuition about this whole precious metals/save my worth scenario concerning the impending collapse of the American dollar. When yet another bank collapses and the stock market continues to crumble, isnt that one step closer for all of us to freedom? Isnt the love of money and the mediumship is provides to aqcuire power the reason we are in this mess to begin with? The Federal Reserve is a fraud, our debt based society is set up to keep us enslaved. So I submit to you all (and this has been stated earlier in this thread), be more concerned about your relationships with the people you love, get as prepared as your current financial situation will allow and continue to put out as much positivity into the universe as possible. It seems to me that the majority of us agree that the even though we may have the Amero for a short while, that market will crash as well and then we are on to the RFID chip. So what is your gold/silver/platinum/palladium worth then? It is my humble opinion that we welcome the crash of our economy and find the goodness in it. I'm done with the rat race we have all been programmed to believe in. You know, the one where how much money you have dictates your class in society, how many "friends" you have, whether or not you get floor seats to a Lakers game, and quality of health care/education you and your family gets. Pardon my explicit passion but, **** THAT!
I realize this may rub people the wrong way and you may think that I am living in the clouds, but like Alex Colliers Andromedan friends asked him: "Why do you have to pay to live on a planet you were born?" Think about it... ************************************************** *** This post has been moderated because inappropriate language has been used. ************************************************** *** Last edited by QtesUKStoke; 09-16-2008 at 07:27 AM. I appreciate your passion during this diabolical time, but you might consider respecting what others have to say a little more because unless you are in the top of the Illuminati pyramid you are merely guessing as to what is the correct move as we all are. Therefore, you are no more well infomed than anyone else in this forum. Yes, you may know the history of money better than anyone in here, but you may fail to realize that your sources of "history" are provided and validated by intellectual prostitutes that have an agenda to tend to. The only thing that is consistent is change. Therefore, you are in no position to accuse anyone of "talking out of their ass". |

Re: What to do With the U.S. Dollar?
I totally agree with Bodzoyfa and appreciate his opinion; We need to look at money as just a vast ice-burg in the way of our future ocean of freedom. If you keep focusing on the big pink elephant in the air (i.e. Money) then you might become distracted from the real purpose of our existence. Good luck in your perspectives and their following actions. Thanks again Bodzoyfa for your uplifting word. It's nice to know I'm not the only soul over in this neck of the woods that is idealistic about life, haha. Peace and Happiness. Adios : )

Re: What to do With the U.S. Dollar?
As a man that has mouths to feed and tending to land and finances, one like myself is asking the question about the dollar in order to get a better grasp on how to preserve time and energy expended, in a way that will float my family. I too feel the need for freedom from the system of enslavement that we have been entrenched in. The way that I see it, is to take the best good information that is available and weigh it inside oneself to get a feeling if its the right thing to do. When I think of gold, I think of something that I've never owned in my life and it's exciting to think of holding some in my hands for a while in this life. That may sound selfish, but it sounds fun to me. I know you can't eat it or breath it, but why not have fun with your money if you have some. If not, big deal. Without it, we're still capable of creating reality instantaneously and why not enjoy your reality. Enslavement is a state of mind. If you think you have to work at a lame job, then you probably do. If you think you need to be somewhere else, then you can be. Knowone is looking out for you except you. We create our every moment and lets start enjoying a little more. Death is inevitable for now, so get used to the scenario and live a little. Peace my friends.
