Default Swine Flu Preparedess Checklist?

Can someone just give me a quick rundown of what I absolutely should have on hand so that I may prepare in case this worsens? I don't need anything complicated and I don't have time to go through all of the preparedness threads.

If you don't mind helping me out here, I'd be very grateful. It's more efficent for me if I can get a small list.

I just listened to Dr. Tenpenny on Alex Jones.

Her list is at the end of a good article

Staying Healthy
Certainly, keeping yourself healthy and protected from all types of flu strains is a priority, now more than ever. Here are some suggestions:

Good hydration with alkaline water
If you don’t have access to an alkaline water machine, be sure to eat large amounts of alkalinizing, fresh vegetables and fruits such as broccoli, carrots, sprouts, avocados and berries. Here is a site with a great list: http://athma-pure.com/alkaline.aspx

Sleep
Get at least 8.5 hours per night, every night. Sleep is often overlooked at the key to health. This is simple to do and best of all, it is free.

Vitamin D
Much has been written on the importance of adequate vitamin D for resisting viral infections. Have your blood tested for 25-OH-vitamin D. Your doctor can order it or you can order it yourself through sites such as www.directlabs.com and www.labsafe.com. Your vitamin D level should be at least 50 ng/ml. It is safe for adults to take up to 5,000 IU of vitamin D3 per day. With summer coming, you can get your dose of D naturally from sunshine.

Vitamin C
Humans don’t store vitamin C and under stress, much more is required. Vitamin C is important for fighting viral infections. Take in at least 2000 mg/day for overall immune health.

Vitamin A
This vitamin is one of the best supporters you can have in your cabinet. Mycel A drops given in juice are easy to take for children and adults of all ages. By taking 5,000 IU/day for 5 days is safe for everyone and will give your immune system a protective boost against all types of viral infections.
Have enough food and supplies for 2-4 weeks.
She also talked about detoxing - the more we are loaded up with chemicals like dioxin, the harder the flu can hit you.
Oil of Oregano is very potent against some of the stronger flu strains.

If you are on MMS then ensure that at least 4hrs passes from taking MMS before you take Vitamin C - then at least 4 more after that before your 2nd MMS hit of the day.

Read George Ures column today

http://www.urbansurvival.com/week.htm

he has an excellent list, and the why of it all. This is a disease that may cause more deaths for those with stronger immune systems due to a cytokine storm reaction, and he covers that, too.

Google Swine Flu Tracker (not exactly part of the checklist, but perhaps useful)

Thanks!

I've actually decided that I will not panic over this. However, there are certainly things I will considering doing.

hey everypone..... this was up a couple weeks ago.... but oddly enough... the info was taken down.........

a friend found it in google cache...

This sums up what I've read about Tagamet in several places, and I've seen it recommended as an anti-viral by both mainstream doctors and alternative medicine practitioners. One thing I thought was odd was when I went back to grab this quote, the page had been taken down. I had to get it from the google cache.

Quote:
Quote:
Cimetidine. The antiviral drug cimetidine (Tagamet®) is an over-the-counter drug used to treat heartburn. It also has potent immune system-boosting effects that can drastically reduce the duration of certain viral infections. Because cimetidine is safe for most people to take, 800 to 1000 mg taken at night (or 200 mg three times a day and 400 mg at night) can help boost the immune system in the event of exposure to influenza. Cimetidine in 200-mg tablets can be purchased over the counter. The directions in over-the-counter package inserts indicate that it is safe to take as much as 800 mg cimetidine a day. Some published studies state that up to 1000 mg cimetidine daily is safe (Choi YS et al 1993).

She also said this about a week or two ago............

Quote:
If an insanely virulent flu strain emerges (or rather, when it emerges), get to all the pharmacies in the area and buy every box of Tagamet they have. For some reason that is not yet understood, Tagamet in large doses stimulates a powerful immune response by your body that has been shown to be very effective against viruses. Some mainstream docs downplay it, but some searching revealed plenty who advocate using it for viral infections and some have links to small-scale studies that have been conducted.

i have been walking all day whistling a song
"people get ready "
are you ready people ? train is coming

People get ready
There's a train a-comming
You don't need no baggage
Just a-get on board
All you need is faith
To hear the deisel hummin'
You don't need no ticket no no
Just thank the Lord
People get ready
For the train to Jordon
It's picking up passengers
From coast to coast
Faith is the key
Open the doors and board on
There's room for all
Amongst who love the most

There ain't no room
For the hopeless sinner
Who would hurt all mankind
Just to save his own
Have pity on those
Who's chances grow thinner
There's no hiding place
In the kingdom's throne

my favorite rendition

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKqtdNxOs00

and B Marley "one love -People get ready "
