Default Doctors Call for Ban on Genetically Modified Foods -- good bye monsanto !!!

Doctors Call for Ban on Genetically Modified Foods
On May 19, 2009 the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) released a landmark position paper signed by physicians across the U.S. calling for a moratorium on GE foods:

"Avoid GM (genetically modified) foods when possible... Several animal studies indicate serious health risks associated with GM food... There is more than a casual association between GM foods and adverse health effects. There is causation...The strength of association and consistency between GM foods and disease is confirmed in several animal studies."

That food-fight was an inside job! But the PTB bit off more than they could chew! I almost threw-up!

Here's a video titled 'The World According to Monsanto'(barf-bags anyone?): http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...83407501596844

Genetically Modified Food (the Silent Killer), Previously! Censored Information, Healthy Sources of GM Free Foods, Drinks and Those to Avoid

see the blog at
http://www.blogcatalog.com/blogs/gen...-to-avoid.html

http://todayyesterdayandtomorrow.wordpress.co…

Most people do not realize they are eating genetically modified food on a regular basis.

They would prefer not to consume GM food given the choice; the more people learn about GMs, the less they trust them; and 94% of Americans would like GM foods labeled. Because GM foods are not labeled, it is nearly impossible for consumers to avoid eating them.

In addition, due to the contamination of conventional and organic crops, and as new varieties of GM crops are introduced, consumers’ choices will continue to diminish as time goes on, if this trend continues.

Safe (GM Free) Food sources as well as those to avoid
are provided on this blog,
as well as news and information that can be difficult to locate,
due to censoring of the true health risks and censoring of the studies
that have been done showing the negative effects
of genetic engineering.

P.S. - Aspartame is also Genetically Engineered.

We are very fortunate for the farmers who have remained organic;
if it were not for them,
we'd have no options at this point
other than growing our own food, indoors.

GMO's are 'infecting' our organic farmers,
via the wind and our pollinators;
these GMO crops are grown out in open fields,
millions of acres of these crops are growing
all over the United States, all over the world.

They are in most foods on the grocery store shelves today,
unlabeled, in the United States today.

They are not tested for safety.

We eat at our own risks, despite dangers being proven.

Oh how I wish a moratorium would be established for GMO's,
it is so past due!

I personally - IMHO - or whatever - will support the mass produced, genetically modified organisms that the big companies push on us, if, that is, they are proven safe for our consumption.

Be they corn or sheep - I want to know. If I eat them, after 40-50 years, will the -'s of the code created not interfere with the +'s . . . . . That is all I want to know.

ONLY way to know for sure is with study . . . . .

Who better to test on . . . . ?

Than us . . . . . . . . .

I saw a news report a few months ago that stated that organic food has no benefits over GM foods. I don't believe everything I read, though.

Seriously I think that food should not be messed with. That includes using very harmful insecticides, especially new ones that have led to a great reduction in the number of creatures essential to the Earth - Bees.

I saw a documentary where a farmer was talking about insecticides and how bad they are, as well as the hold insecticide companies have on farmers. He also mentioned that the nutritional value of fruit and veg today is something like 30-40% that it was 50 years ago.

The farmer was doing completely natural farming, using a large amount of earthworms to fill the soil with nutrients and producing food with very high nutritional value, that is the way forward IMO.

I would like to grow my own fruit and veg, maybe when I can afford my own house with space for a large greenhouse, maybe in a few years if all goes well.
