Default "And now for a world government", Financial Times

Columnists Gideon Rachman wrote "And now for a world government", Financial Times Dec 9 2008:

http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/7a03e5b6-c...077b07658.html

In the bottom...
"In general, the Union(ref. EU) has progressed fastest when far-reaching deals have been agreed by technocrats and politicians – and then pushed through without direct reference to the voters. International governance tends to be effective, only when it is anti-democratic.

and...
"The world’s most pressing political problems may indeed be international in nature, but the average citizen’s political identity remains stubbornly local. Until somebody cracks this problem,..."

Go local

The point is, engaging and participating in local politics, committees and boards AND making readers contribution to the local paper, then the globalization-process is slowed down.

It's simple, it's near and you dont have to run and hide...yet. And it brings along amusement, if you like it that way.

I'm, and it works!

Adds some few links about the topic;

where I found it in the first place, and

With the point; "Now the agenda is out in the open"

Lets stay in the open we too...as a shield for those we love, and they who can't.
