Sugar in space 'proves aliens'
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...cle1971518.ece
SCIENTISTS have found SUGAR in deep space — and say it points to the existence of aliens. The organic molecule directly linked to the origin of life was detected 26,000 light-years from Earth, where stars are being born. It was found using a radio telescope in the French Alps by a team including UK astronomer Dr Serena Viti, of University College London. Previously the molecule, glycolaldehyde, had been detected only towards the centre of the galaxy where conditions are thought too extreme for life. Dr Viti said: “This is an important discovery.” |

OK me baad, I was thinking like a sub-editor from the sun there.
I personally have no doubt that there are is life out there, and other organic compounds have been found throughout our own solar system, this article is just drip feeding the masses. Even the pope said aliens can be catholics too. |

He did indeed. The Pope's never one to miss an opportunity.
Did you listen to the hilarious Balducci interview? Sub editor from the sun, would that be the newspaper or the planet? And everyone knows that mushroom spores can easily survive deep space, and are in fact spread universe wide. Don't they? Good to see a little humor here, it's the Celtic blood. In me too. |
