Another one, probably non-predictive, (?) by the director of Donnie Darko 2001, Richard Kelly.

Re: predictive programming almost as its happening now
I highly doubt that any of these movies could scare me.
I've seen too many horror flicks in my life to where they don't matter anymore. It's real life that's even scarier at times. |

Re: predictive programming almost as its happening now
I don't know about this guy... a couple of masterpieces then it all goes to *****. It's like he has inside job stamped on his forehead. Weren't there reports of some post-vaccine backwards walkers lately, like in his The Happening (walking backwards).
M. Night Shyamalan's "Devil" gets its due Wed Oct 29, 2008 1:57am EDT It will be directed by "Quarantine" duo John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle from a script by Brian Nelson ("30 Days of Night"). The project will be the first feature Shyamalan has written or produced without directing. "Devil" heads into production next year, aiming for a PG-13 rating. It will be the first under a three-film financing/production partnership with independent financier Media Rights Capital, dubbed the Night Chronicles. http://www.reuters.com/article/enter...49S1CY20081029 Last edited by no caste; 11-09-2009 at 05:54 PM. |

Re: predictive programming almost as its happening now
I was going to add this information to a Watcher thread (now removed){something about a train, old resources removed}, re income stats for the movie weekend and The Fourth Kind in particular.
Carrey's 'Christmas Carol' wraps up $31M weekend Nov 8 - 09 2. Sony's "This Is It" - $14 million 3. "The Men Who Stare at Goats" - $13.3 million 4. "The Fourth Kind" - $12.5 million http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/...GiU3wD9BRGUTO1 The Christmas Carol ad looks a bit like Dr. Strangelove to me, except the new missile rider is less enthused. It also coincides temporally (roughly) with: The residual steel problem - http://www.ussnewyork.com/ U.S.-Russia Nuclear Agreement Is First Step in Broad Effort http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/07/wo...e/07prexy.html |
