I just saw Planet 51 with my kids. Because it's a kids movie some of us might not stumble upon it.
The movie (see imdb info here (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0762125/)) is very funny and worth your time even if you just want to laugh.
It's about a terra-human astronaut discovering life on another planet.
As can be expected the film contains lots of curious references to experiences we have here on our planet. Apart from sync between area 51 and planet 51 the discovery of that planet takes place when they are in their 'fifties'. And this time it's the visiting terra-human learning them more about space. And of course the obvious question: who is the alien here ?
Lots of the content have great parallels with all the 'conspiracy' details here on earth and for each individual it will be some kind of subliminal revelation depending on your current insight.
It left me with at least one question. The secret base they bring the alleged alien to is Base 9.
What's up with the number 9 ? We recently had movies like District 9, just a single number 9 (see imdb (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1133545472/tt0472033)) with the cover referring to 9-9-09 and the mysterious film the ninth gate ...
Does anyone know more about the number 9 (possibly related to all these movies) ?
