This guys youtube video is very intresting and i definately think he is on to something very big. I would like to know what the intelect on this forum thinks. I live in the lowcountry of South Carolina...so I am having to ponder all the possibilities. Thanks in advance, this is my first post. I apologize if I make mistakes posting.

For confirmation you may also want to check out http://www.rense.com/general91/nenjune262010truthconsequences.pdf which include speculation on the connection of the oil spill area and the New Madrid Fault. I also remember viewing a Madrid Fault line program on the History Channel?, before the Oil Spill. It showed historical photos of the previous earthquake in the 1800's and expectation photos for a future one. Even if you don't live in the region, just think of the damage to East Coast and Upper Midwest food deliveries to your area...And don't forget what Jesse Venture discovered about oil company plans to turn the Gulf of Mexico shoreline into a giant service area for oil refineries.

I grew up in an era when one could trust the government to have the people's interests in mind but this is a time when heartless corporations run the show and buy off governments.

February Is Earthquake Awareness Month. During Earthquake Awareness Month, the Department of Natural Resources in MO will participate in a number of public activities by providing scientific data about the New Madrid Seismic Zone, mapping for risk assessment, potential earthquake risk for citizens, as well as providing geologic information about the basics of earthquakes. Missourians are encouraged to attend any of the public events. Plans are also underway to observe the 200th anniversary of the 1811-12 earthquakes.

I think there will be more about information about the New Madrid Seismic Zone because of the 200th anniversary, hopefully not preparing for a disaster. We can only wonder at this point. Better to be prepared than not.

The whole theory is based on assumptions. Does he has the radiation intensity profile of HAARP?
Even the basics are not correct:
There is no 120 degree angle between the points on his map.
My opinion: BS

I just watched the video. I do not believe the connection of the BP oil spill to any future Madrid faulting. The pore pressure released from the Gulf of Mexico due to Deepwater Horizon is extremely small compared to the effective stresses involved. More to that, the fluid that was released was very shallow compared to the deep tectonic rifting throughout the Gulf and the Madrid fault line. Finally, reducing pore pressure generally has a stabilizing effect on faulting not destabilizing.

If there is any faulting along the Madrid it is probably due to the extensional forces (splitting apart... expanding in size) that are the cause.

why would the government split the country with HAARP, but prepare to feed 17 million people? First of all, that's a lot of oil not being sold, and if some authority has the audacity to do that, why try to save 17 million? wouldn't the point be to let them die, by starvation or at the hands of looters? Or is it a stockpile for the FEMA camps?
Perhaps these FEMA camps, and people trains, and lunch pails for 17 million is in case our dollar experiences hyper-inflation, and everyone currently on the government's lunch program gets IOU's instead of real money, and food stamps.
Or, for all I know (and I don't know much), every time they're caught with their hand in the cookie jar, they have to change plans.
I just don't see a .gov order for food to feed 17 million as proof of anything, except maybe their insecurities (since they're probably in the know, unlike me).
China and Russia have decided to stop using our dollar. 0.43 cents of every dollar U. Sam spends is borrowed, and they don't seem to be curtailing they're spending habits.
