I just saw this and thought it was pretty interesting. It's about the meaning of revelation in regard to the star systems.

I don't know that I agree with the interpretation at the end - but when I saw it, it did make me think that maybe this is what was meant about the return of Jesus.

This is interesting. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

I am reading The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness by Calleman. It is clear that2011is a very important year for us and the cycles we are going through now are only 20 days long, so things will come at us and changes will happen fast and furious.

That's really interesting, Nearing. It reminds me of part of scripture where it goes something like, when 40 days lasts for so long, and tehn 40 days lasts for, this long, and 40 days which will last as a minute (I wish I could remember it properly, but basically it was a count down - I guess it was meaning when time would become shorter, perhaps.

Also along the same lines is what Terrence McKenna says about the...OMG - I can't remember the word, but it's where the time spiral gets smaller and things begin to happen at a much faster speed.

I'll get back and edit this when I find the right quotes and the right term.

Teakai, yes!, in his TimeWave Zero? Right?

Doesn't it seem like all of these disparate people and sources are all saying the same thing just in a different way?

There are references in the quran to that too.
And another one you might find interesting, is that one of the signs of the final days is that the sun will rise from the west.
People get that one upside down, it just means the magnetic poles will shift.

That's right, Nearing, I had to track it down to find the term - it's the 'Singularity'. :)

*sigh*
So glad I found that - now to go and dig around for the bible quote I'm thinking of.

Thanks for that M'Lord.
No pressure - but are you able to reference it? Don't go to any bother, though.

Is the sunrise in the West from the Quran also?

Both of them are, yes.
I will see if I can find a reference online.

Ok, found some stuff for ya.

Don't worry when you see this http://www.inter-islam.org/images/saw23X22.gif it just means sallAllahu `alayhi wa sallam, commonly writen SAW. It means ''May ogd honour him and grant him peace.''

When the length of days is stretched, i.e. a journey of a few days is covered in a matter of hours.

I am going to ask a friend for more if you want them.
I don't last long reading religious texts based on fear paradigms, so that is all I could find in the time I was looking.

Thanks M'Lord. I haven't found the quote I was looking for yet - have gotten distracted in the journey.

I've tried to google, but my wording of the quote is a bit dodgy.

Will read through the links you gave shortly.

Thank you for that :)

Well, it seems the minor signs are covered.

Do you know how it stands with the major signs? Should I mop the kitchen floor, or not bother? :)

I have discussed the end days with traditional christians and they say that in the final days the weather is warm all around the planet. I think that a reversed pole might go along with that.
I doubt though that that will be the case before 2012, but I sense the 11/11/11 date to be very important here.
I wasstruck by the dates of the mayan ninth wave, march 9th to October 28th, and felt compelled to call it ninth months (inner message I was recieving after clearly getting the date march 10th one evening) then I saw this post and counted in 11/11 bingo. Some event or shift at the beginning of the period allowing something to progress for nine months then the big event
(not an end of days thing yet) . In another post the ninth wave period seems to be about bringing unity consciousness into the populations awareness. A sort of second coming as a new awareness rather than some special human being born somewhere.

Leave the floor, buy a boat.
A big one.
I feel there could be a 2 x 2 deal happening.
I hope you like mucking out.

I love mucking out. No floor mopping when your mucking out.
Don't know about the boat, though - think I'll take my chances. We live next to an extinct volacano (should it stay that way) might go camp on top of it.
