A UFO in the skies above Siberia on March 2, 2011 was investigated by Emergencies Ministry staff after concerned locals claimed they were visited by something unexplained.

Residents of Ossinsky district in Irkutsk Region said a loud, glowing object appeared in the sky – but nobody has been able to clarify what it was.

Security services responsible for air defence could not confirm any flights in the area, while search and rescue teams found no evidence that the aircraft had crashed.

Meanwhile seismic stations around Baikal confirmed that there were no earthquakes which might have caused the noise, while astronomers in Irkutsk have suggested that it could be a meteorite, Interfax reported.

Citizens were assured by government experts that all they were seeing was a meteor burning up on entering Earth's atmosphere.

For residents of the Irkutsk region deep space knocking on the window. The last alien landing shot on a mobile phone camera. These lights in the sky more closely resemble the patrol car with spetssignalami.

As acknowledged by the eyewitnesses, the first feeling was fear. But he soon gave way to curiosity. Retirees even calculate favorite place hovering UFO.

For explanations appealed to astronomers to Irkutsk. Observatory staff members recognize that the lights are really weird, but attribute it to their earthly origins. But those who are really watching flying saucers in the consumer version not really believe it. Russian ufologists have long been considered a springboard Baikal secret aliens. A amateur video footage of takeoffs and landings of UFOs was typed on a feature-length documentary

That's incredible!

Isn’t it, that’s the reason the UFO’s are at Irkutsk, visiting the Sukhoi factory, nothing else’s is at Irkutsk…..

What would you give up to get 15 minutes with this lady…imagine if you will, pulling all that G and back flipping her, the auto inflate in the G suite would grab you around the groins so you get the best of both worlds…

LOL - I'm a lady myself so it probably wouldn't have the same effect on me!! i just edited my post above as you were posting yours. How in the world are some of those moves possible? I've never seen anything like it. What kind of craft is that and what country owns it?

It’s a Russian Aircraft, Irkutsk is in deepest Siberia, seriously nothing else is at Irkutsk so why else would UFO’s go. I mean they are intelligent aren’t they.

It defies all the laws of aerodynamics, and the computer and composites are flying the aircraft and taking the strain as it were. The engines are asymmetrical trust so the engines produce rotating thrust.

Russian girls fly these you would enjoy it. I guarantee for at least an hour after that those guys will be buzzing with maxed out adrenalin.

Where did they get that technology? Do the US have anything close to it?

Having seen that it certainly makes sense why UFO's would have any business visiting the locality.

They develop the technology, Russian’s are very clever people. The Russians have everything that the US have and more. Seriously Russian is a great place if you can put up with the extreme cold, but they don’t bother about it when its -38 everything still works.

Mmmm no the US don’t go in for dog fighting, so they don’t really have this level of engineering, based on what we know about. It’s really designed for the export market, they will sell these to Iran for example.

Ive got a pic for you An Cailleach, I will post it up… Do you realise that’s a Scottish Mountain your name.

Its the Russian SU-37
First flight was in 1996
Apparently it is no longer in production? and only two were built?

Wikipedia:

The Sukhoi Su-37 (NATO reporting name: Flanker-F) is a Russian experimental multirole jet fighter aircraft. It is a single seat fighter modified from the 1st generation Su-35 prototypes for thrust vector control testing.

The Su-37 is not to be confused with the S-37 Berkut (Su-47) forward-swept wing technology demonstrator or the single engined S-37 canard delta naval fighter proposed by Sukhoi in the early 1990s.

The Su-37 is a single-seat, all-weather fighter and ground attack prototype aircraft, derived from the Su-27. The Su-37 includes several updates over the Su-27, including all-weather multi-mode passive electronically scanned array radar with synthetic aperture, terrain avoidance, terrain mapping radar. The airframe includes a percentage of parts made from composites, unlike the all-metal Su-27. Additionally, the Su-37 incorporates the AL-37FU engines equipped with thrust vectoring. The Su-37’s nozzles are variable in pitch and travel plus or minus 15 degrees. It can carry air-to-air and air-to-surface weapons on 12 stations.
