This was just sent to me via my questions with Nasa with regard to anomolies on Soho ect etc ...

They are trying very hard to de-bunk this 2012/Planet x/Nibiru thing!! I wonder why!! What is the 'truth'

Anyway interesting read and video... have a peep

"Stories about the fictional planet Nibiru and predictions of doomsday in December 2012 have blossomed on the Internet. There are now (June 2009) more than 175 books listed on Amazon.com dealing with the 2012 doomsday. As this hoax spreads, many more disaster scenarios are being suggested. “Ask an Astrobiologist” has received nearly a thousand questions about Nibiru and 2012, with more than 200 answers posted. Many new questions are similar to those already answered. Following is a list of the most popular “Twenty Questions” organized in a logical succession and answered in some detail."

That was interesting. I was never "worried" about 2012, I defiantly don't feel it is a doom and gloom thing. I am excited and happy to be where I am at this moment.

It is hilarious how they beat around the bush when it comes to such things.

Notice how they deny the existence of a "planet x", and the Dec 21 2012 date as the "end of the world".

They do not mention Nemesis, and do not deny that there may be a secondary sun, or cold dwarf lurking out there. They never really deny the truth, only technicalities. There is a mysterious body out there that may be a part of our solar system, but it is not a planet.
There could be great cataclysmic events affecting our planet in the near future, but it won't be on the specific date of 12-21-12, and it won't be caused by the non-existent planet.
Technically, they are correct :p

FROM THE LIST OF QUESTIONS UNDER THE VIDEO IN THE LINK.

18. Can you prove to me that Nibiru is a hoax? There are so many reports that something terrible will happen in 2012. I need proof because the government and NASA are keeping so much from us.

It is not logical to ask for proof that the 2012 doomsday is a hoax. Your questions should be to the doomsday advocates to prove that what they are saying is true, not to NASA to prove it is false. If someone claimed on the Internet that there were 50-foot tall purple elephants walking through Cleveland, would anyone expect NASA to prove this wrong? The burden of proof falls on those who make wild claims. Remember the often-quoted comment from Carl Sagan that extraordinary claims demand extraordinary levels of evidence if they are to be believed.

However, I think that astronomers have reached the point where we can offer extremely strong arguments that Nibiru does not exist. A large planet (or a brown dwarf) in our solar system would have been known to astronomers for many years, both indirectly from its gravitational perturbations on other objects and by direct detection in the infrared. The NASA Infrared Astronomy Satellite (IRAS) carried out the first all-sky survey in 1983, and several subsequent surveys would also have seen Nibiru if it were there. Further, if a large mass passed through the inner solar system every 3600 years, we would see its disruptive effects on the orbits of the inner planets, and we don’t.

You don’t need to take my word for it. Just use common sense. Have you seen Nibiru? In 2008 many websites said it would be visible to the naked eye in spring 2009. If a large planet or brown dwarf were headed for the inner solar system in 2012, it would already be tracked by hundreds of thousands of astronomers, professional and amateur, all over the world. Do you know any amateur astronomers who are watching it? Have you seen any photos or discussion of it in the big popular astronomy magazines like Sky & Telescope? Just think about it. No one could hide Nibiru if it existed.

This article was a headline this morning on Discovery news, now I can't find it in their listing of recent articles at all. Had to go back through browsing history to find the link, transcript below in case the get rid of it (original link: http://news.discovery.com/space/rogue-brown-dwarf-lurks-in-our-cosmic-neighborhood.html)

Brown dwarf-hunting astronomers have reported the discovery of a "failed star" located within 10 light-years from Earth. This makes it the nearest brown dwarf and one of ten nearest stellar objects to our solar system. Although its location isn't entirely unexpected (it is thought that the galaxy is stuffed full of these objects), the chemical composition of its atmosphere is a bit of a conundrum.

UGPSJ0722-05 is all by itself, floating through interstellar space, possibly having formed there on its lonesome, or kicked out of its host star system by an ancient gravitational game of stellar pinball. How it got there may not ever be known, but its close proximity allows astronomers to carry out detailed analysis of the object.

And what they found was a surprise.

Philip Lucas at the University of Hertfordshire, UK, and his international team are part of the UKIDSS Galactic Plane Survey, a program that uses the UK Infrared Telescope (UKIRT) in Hawaii to hunt for objects that glow in infrared.

Brown dwarfs are too small to initiate nuclear fusion in their cores for long periods (so they're not stars), but they are distinct from planets too. Their interior has a convective motion of material, ensuring it is constantly being mixed up, preventing chemicals from settling -- chemical differentiation is a planetary trait. Therefore, brown dwarfs are often considered to be the "bridge" between the most massive planets (Jupiter-like gas giants) and the smallest stars.

As brown dwarfs are technically "failed stars," they are naturally very dim in visible wavelengths, but they do emit in infrared, radiation the UKIDSS survey is sensitive to.

The UKIRT has already detected many cool brown dwarfs, but UGPSJ0722-05 appears to be the coolest ever discovered. It could have a surface temperature as low as 400 Kelvin, even cooler than the team's previous record of slightly below 500 K (see "Brown Dwarf Hunt Hits Record Low").

Using the Gemini Observatory, follow-up spectroscopic analysis has detected methane and water vapor in its atmosphere. As pointed out by the arXiv blog, the presence of organic compounds will surely get astrobiologists talking.

Oddly, when looking at the spectrum from UGPSJ0722-05, there is an anomalous absorption line (i.e. a particular wavelength in the electromagnetic spectrum that is missing) that cannot be explained by our current understanding of brown dwarfs. Perhaps the UKIRT has discovered a new breed of brown dwarf; a very cool object with some chemical in its atmosphere that absorbs infrared radiation at a wavelength of 1.25 micrometers.

This is definitely one brown dwarf to keep a close eye on.

My question is why are countries working 24/7 to complete underground bases. I personally have no proof, only what I have heard from whistle-blower testimony. What are they expecting to happen? Planet X, Pole shift, crustal displacement, nuclear war, CME.... If you have read the Norwegian politician's letter (Project Camelot) and believe there is an ounce of truth in it, he says they have furiously working on underground bases that can house 40% of their population. So what do they know....and what are they hiding? Not that we can do anything about it, but I am keeping an eye on things.

Yes I agree Mandala ... Why would they be building those? Also what about all the ancient scriptures and ancient clay tablets that depict the 10 planets... ect etc ... All the sciptures mention this...maybe with a different name...!!

Still to many unanswered questions!!!

Personally I would take whatever NASA says with a pinch of salt!!
